Children’s Ministry

 2010 Programs for Children and Families

 

Every Sunday morning:

9:00 am – Sunday School for toddlers and up – adult classes available also

10:30 am – Worship Service (nursery and children’s church available during the service)

 

Wednesday evenings during the school year:

5:30 pm – Dinner for the whole family ($4 per adult, kids eat free)

6:15 pm – Programs for children and adults

7:15 pm – Pick-up Volleyball games, free childcare provided until 8:15 pm

 

Mothers Circle – Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for food, fellowship, and Bible Study.  Kids are welcome to come along, or you can use it as an excuse to have a night out! 

Upcoming Events:

 

June 20-24 – Summer Sports Fest VBS – Basketball or Cheerleading for ages 6 through 8th grade, Sports for Tots for ages 3-5.  5:30-8:30pm, includes dinner.  $50 per child, scholarships available. 

 

June 25 – Family Campout at Lake Murray.  Activities include cookout, campfire, swimming, fishing, and camping.  $10 per family to cover food costs.  Bring your own camping gear, or let us know if you need to borrow some.  Cookout starts at 6:00 pm.

 

June 27-July 1 – Summer Sports Fest VBS – Soccer or Double Dutch for ages 6 through 8th grade.  5:30-8:30pm, includes dinner.  $50 per child, scholarships available. 

 

July 15 – Summer Pool Party – details to come.

 

July 25 – Palmetto Falls Trip – meet in parking lot after 10:30 service. 

 

August 13 – End of Summer Family Party – details to come.

 

August 29 – Tailgate Kickoff – Dust off your tailgating supplies to get ready for football season!  Bring your tent, grill, tables, chairs, food, and footballs!  Wear your team colors and fire up the grills in the church parking lot after the 10:30 service.  Prizes for best tailgate setup. 

 

September 12 – Rally Day – Fun, food, and games to kick-off the new Sunday School year!  9:00 am

 

October 27 – Halloween Carnival – food, games, bounce house, trunk-or-treat and LOTS of candy!  5:30-7:30 pm
